How to make a video without software: In the “Windows XP” era, there was a popular video-making program called Windows Movie Maker, which allowed users to make videos from some images and songs in an easy way that did not require any prior knowledge of montage but instead provided the ability to add effects, transitions, and texts. However, you can still make a video from scratch using a group of photos without installing additional software. All you have to do is create a new folder in which you collect all the images that you want to include in one video clip, then press Ctrl + A on the keyboard to select all the pictures, then right-click and choose from the list of options “Edit with Clipchamp” as shown in the photo above. This will open the app and add the images, ready to create a new video.
From the left side menu within the Your media section, you will find all the images that you just added, and you only have to click on the Add to timeline option represented by the plus sign (+) in the image preview; you can do this randomly or in order according to what will appear in the video after completion, as each photo is added to the timeline below, along with the following image, and so on.
Through the Timeline control unit below, you can rearrange the images or extend the duration of the image display in the video by dragging the endpoint in the part of the image to the right. Many other actions can be completed to obtain a satisfactory result. For example, you can add the navigation effect between each photo, choose from several products, or add text to the video or a specific section.
Of course, adding background music to the video enhances the viewing pleasure, so the application allows you to create a video from photos and music, as it provides a set of ready-to-use audio in your video clip, or you can choose any audio file from your device and add it to the video. Finally, you can change the dimensions of the video by clicking on the image frame in the player, so you can change the dimensions according to the aspect ratio from among the preset options or specify specific dimensions manually; you can also enlarge and reduce the video if you want.
After completing the video production and reaching a satisfactory result, there is nothing left but to save this video to your device; click on the “Export” button, then select the video resolution from the drop-down list and wait a while for the video to be created, the process will not take much time unless There were many videos and photos that you were merging, in this case, the method may need 5 minutes at most to complete. In the end, you will find the video saved in the Downloads folder, so you can watch it, edit it, and share it as usual.
Photos
The default Photos viewing application in Windows 11 does more than display images; it can be relied upon to play video clips as well and includes a Video Editor tool for editing video and even add filters to the video as well as writing text on the video and merging more than one video. All depend on the Video Editor tool, as we will use it today to explain how to make a video from photos.
All you need is to create a folder containing all these photos, then launch the Photos Legacy app by searching for it by pressing the Win + S keys together if you are using the latest version of Windows 11. But if it does not appear in the results, It may have been deleted after recent updates due to the presence of a newer version of the Photos application for Windows 11. Hence, the solution is to download it from the Microsoft Store.
After opening the Photos Legacy app, click on the Add Folder button, which is located next to the profile picture at the top right, then from the list, choose “From a folder” and then select the folder that contains the photos that you want to convert into a video clip. Once you do, you must wait a while for the images to be imported and displayed within the app.
Once the images are displayed in the application, press the “Select” button from the top bar and start selecting all the photos, either in order or randomly, after that press the “New video” button and select from the list “New video project” or you can choose “Automatic video.” The app creates the video automatically, stitching together photos and adding transition effects and background music without your intervention.
If you choose “New video project” from the next screen, assign a name to the project from the “Name your video” window and press the Ok button. After that, you can rearrange the images by dragging and dropping them into the Timeline below. By default, the display time for each photo is 3 seconds, but if you want to change this, you can select the image from the Timeline and click “Duration” to specify how long the image will display in the video. Another cool feature is to set the motion effect for photos; you can select a photo and press “Motion” to select the transition effect while viewing that photo. You can also add 3D effects, filters, and even background music.
Once you are done adjusting all the adjustments, feel free to run the preview that appears inside the Video Editor window to see the result. If it is satisfactory, press the “Finish video” button on the top right of the application, and select the output quality from the “Video Quality” menu, where you can either output the video as “High” or “Low” quality, after that press the “Export” button and select a Save location video, then click Save.
