How to Delete system apps in Samsung: Suppose you purchased a new Android phone from any company, regardless of nationality, after completing the phone setup for the first time. In that case, you would find in front of you many pre-installed applications by the manufacturer or from Google or the carrier through which you purchased the phone. Although some of these applications are removable by the user if he is not using them, many are “blue tower applications”; that is, they are not removable in traditional ways and continue to consume storage space and processing capacity working in the background. Fortunately, if you are facing this problem on your Samsung phone, it is possible to bypass it simply with the help of a third-party tool called Universal Android Debloater.
Universal Android Debloater is one of the best tools that help remove unnecessary system apps safely and without the need for root privileges from most Android phones, not only Samsung but also Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei…etc. The program greatly simplifies the process of deleting non-removable applications, as it only takes one click to completely disappear the application from the phone and free up the storage space it was occupying, and this is unlike the method we reviewed before to disable system applications bloatware from Android, which required dealing with ADB commands Which made the task somewhat tricky for some. Delete system apps in Samsung phones.
All you have to do initially is download the Android Debugging Bridge or ADB tool from the official Android developer website, which will act as a link to communicate with the Universal Android Debloater program to remove system applications from the phone forcefully. So, after opening the site, click on the download link, depending on the computer’s operating system, and a compressed file of less than 15 MB will start downloading. After downloading, decompress it using WinRAR or any other tool to get the Platform-Tools folder containing all the files. Note that the device does not require installation; save the folder on your desktop for easy access later.
Now download the Universal Android Debloater program from the GitHub platform, where you click “Assets” to display the download links for each version, depending on your operating system. For example, if you are using the Windows system, download the file “uad_gui-windows.exe,” and its size does not exceed 10 MB. After that, you need to move the program file you just downloaded to the Platform-Tools folder (as shown in the image above)
After completing the previous step, go to your Android phone, where you need to enable USB Debugging mode. The matter is simple, go to “Settings” and then head to the “About phone” section. From there, go to “Software information” and press five times in a row on “Build number” until you see the message [Developer mode is enabled].
Now go back to the Settings home page and scroll down. You should notice that a new “Developer options” section has appeared. Go to it and make sure that it is activated by activating the button located in the upper left. After that, scroll down a little until you reach the “Debugging” section, and start the “USB debugging” option. You will see a confirmation message, from which click “OK.”
Once the USB debugger mode is activated, connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable, then run the Universal Android Debloater program on the computer. After that, the “Do you want to allow USB debugging” message should appear on the phone screen, so press the “OK” button. Thus, the phone is now connected to the computer under “USB Debugging” mode.
Universal Android Debloater should automatically recognize your connected phone. If not, press “Reboot” to restart the program. In any case, once your phone is detected, it will start browsing a long list that includes all the applications installed on the phone, whether those you downloaded yourself or the system; however, the list can be re-sorted by clicking on the “All lists” drop-down list to choose “oem” from it, and thus the list is limited On system apps installed by the manufacturer, in this case, Samsung apps, or “google” to show only Google apps or “carrier” to show apps pre-installed by your carrier.
Note that the program does not display the actual names of the applications but rather the programmatic term, which sometimes refers to the application’s name. You can browse the list or use the search bar at the top to find applications easily. Once you find the app, you want to delete, press the “Uninstall” button in front of its name, and in a matter of moments, that app will disappear from the phone, even if it is a system app. The wonderful thing about the program is that it also supports multiple selections, so you can put a checkmark (✔) next to the applications you want to get rid of and then press “Uninstall selection” to delete them immediately from the phone.
In this way, you can eliminate all system applications you do not use on your Samsung phone or of any type. As a result, you may save a lot of storage space and reduce the burden on the phone’s resources since most unnecessary system applications run in the background even if the user has not run them before. However, if a problem occurs in the phone after removing the system apps, you can restore any of them using Universal Android Debloater. All you have to do after running it is to choose “Uninstalled” from the All packages list to view the applications that you removed, with a “Restore” button that leads to reinstalling any application again.
